Wordmaster employs a carefully-picked network of skilled translators and language specialists. Our translators only translate into their mother tongues.

Wordmaster is the brainchild of translator Helene Heldager.

• She has a degree from Copenhagen University
  
• She has been a language professional since 1993, starting as a lexicography consultant for one of Scandinavia’s largest publishers and moving into translation work for Danmarks Radio (“the Danish Broadcasting Corporation”) and Nordisk Film (the oldest film production company in the world)
  
• She has had her own translation and proofing agency since 2001, with a wide range of assignments from advertising copy to feature films including Dogville and Manderlay, directed by Lars von Trier
  
• She spent three years in Los Angeles where she also set up and ran her own business
